Now, the World Cup will bring an excellent opportunity for players to make exceptional additions to their respective Ultimate Team squads - a new type of Special card called the FIFA World Cup History Maker. So in this guide, learn all you need to know about the World Cup History Makers items in FUT 23 and how to unlock them below.

According to EA's release, "a FIFA World Cup History Maker player item celebrates current international players who are set to have a key role for their country at the FIFA World Cup 2022."

Thankfully, you don't have to do much to unlock the new cards for your Ultimate Team. Play FIFA 23 at least once from November 9 to January 3 to receive the following offers:

Loan ICON or loan FUT Hero for seven FUT matches.

Loan items are players which you can use for a limited number of competitive matches in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. The number of matches a player is available for is shown in a blue circle on their player item. As long as they have at least one match remaining on their loan, loan items can also be used in friendly matches and within FUT Moments without using up any of their remaining matches. Loan items are untradeable and cannot be sold on the Transfer Market or via quick sell to earn FIFA Coins 23.

Although the expiry for the reward is January, the cards may be added to your FUT 23 account before then, so you can use them in the World Cup promos.
